Session Requirements
Our session program is open to all children, ages 6-18. On occasion, based on need, exceptions are considered. Our session program is to provide a safe place for children and their familes to experience hope, healing, and encouragement in a unique farm setting. In each session, there is one main purpose-to mentor the child.
Come as you are
These one hour sessions are a "come as you are" environment. The leaders of Mounted Ministries work hard to pair kids with an activity or horse that will encourage them forward toward hope and personal growth.
Activity options
All activities are chosen at the discretion of each individual leader. Some of these activities include working/riding horses, crafts, games, chores, and life skills. A secondary goal of our session program is to educate kids in equine safety and animal husbandry. All activities with the children are structured to accomplish our primary goal of creating a Christ centered, safe and loving environment to mentor each child.
